Spring is a great time of the year. While the fall carries the inevitable buzz kill of going into the cold winter months, winter is a drab wasteland of wearing a bunch of padding and summer can be brutally hot, spring is just the right combination of all of these seasons. While going back to 60 in the fall can feel like you are being frozen out, the first time the mercury hits 60 in the spring, you feel like the Sun has finally come out for the first time all year. You have all of the hope that the summer time brings, coupled with warm weather when you are in a state of mind where you can actually appreciate it.
So naturally, when people get warm they start to get more frisky. This is the time of the year when all the critters of the forest start to pair off and do what they need to do. And there is no reason why you should not look just as foxy as the foxes do. So what can you do to make sure to hedge against the last gasp of the winter time, while you look good enough to light summer on fire when it gets here?
First off, remember the old rule of layering your clothes. When you dress in layers, just like in the winter time, you are always going to have the option of taking off the things that make you too hot if you want to. But at the same time, sometimes it is better to have something and not need it, unless you really like the look of goose bumps on bare skin. While that can definitely be cute, shivering is a little less hot. After all, you don’t want your potential summer fling to think that you have malaria or something. Layer your colors, and open like a flower.
